YOUNG PERSON’S POETRY, PROSE & ART
1 –
5 September 2008
NEWSFLASH…..Roxfest
expands in 2008 to include prose…..young writers encouraged to enter……
Roxfest is an event that fosters
and encourages the artistic visions and talent of children and young
people in our community. School students in the local area are invited
to enter their poetry, prose, art, sculpture and photography into the
festival.
Roxfest, now in its ninth year, is an initiative of the North Rocks
Public School P&C. We are grateful to the Unilever Australasia
Foundation for its continuing support and to Westfield North Rocks for
again letting us display the entries in public.
Entry to the festival is free. All poetry, prose, art, sculpture and
photography need to be submitted by 4.00 pm on Wednesday 30 August 2007.
If
you are interested in entering Roxfest you can download a copy of the
brochure. It has more information about the festival, the judges and the
prizes you can win.
